Our Philosophy

At Chris Kendig Photography we do things a little differently than your traditional wedding studio. We pride ourselves on being much more than that. As photographers we truly love photographing weddings. You couldn’t ask for a more fun, happy, intimate or beautiful occasion. But we also have other photographic interests. We photograph children and the warm bond with their parents, we shoot for magazines and have a solid base of corporate clients and believe it or not we still find the time to make our own fine art that gets hung in galleries all over the place. We truly believe that we’re better photographers for it. Being diversified in what we do helps us grow and evolve as photographers by constantly shooting new subjects in new places. That way we never become stagnant photographically. It’s hard to grow as a photographer when all you do is shoot one subject. Taking on a limited amount of weddings per year and photographing in other fields allows us to maintain a balanced approach with our photography. It keeps us fresh, inspired and on our toes producing some of the best work around.
