I spent a lovely fall day at Silver Buttons Farm playing with light, shadows and color. I want to go back!

I didn’t even know I had these photos. I just stumbled upon them today. It’s interesting to see how I photographed only a few years ago.

Remember these days? Poor kid just wasn’t tall enough.

Here’s a few from my trip out west. Not sure what it is about ferns but I love them.

Back in July my buddy and I did a three day kayaking trip down the Delaware River. We started in Milford, PA and ended up in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Here’s some pics from my recent four day kayaking trip in the San Juan Islands.

Walking down a path I almost ran into this inchworm. How can something so small produce fifty plus feet of thread to dangle out of a tree? Poor guy had to climb all the way back up.

Bright orange moss in a sea of driftwood.

Relaxing and enjoying the view after a long day of kayaking. And yes, those are Crocs I’m wearing. I know they don’t look cool.

In the early evening I almost stepped on this dragonfly. I thought it was dead so I picked it up and proceeded to show everybody in the group. As I photographed it we noticed it started to move slowly. It’s like it was sleeping or something. I put it down and two minutes later it was gone.

Evan Williams Honey Whiskey turned out to be the perfect companion for campfires.

The guide preparing breakfast.

The early morning fog finally melts off the ocean. It delayed our channel crossing on the last day by an hour or so. It’s just to dangerous in a kayak as it’s impossible for motorboats to see you.

Brown’s Canyon is probably my favorite fishing spot. I’ve been there a few times now and each time it gets better. What a beautiful stretch of water.

My friends Anna & Jeff got married in a little town south of Denver at a cute, all inclusive resort called The Inn at Palmer Divide. When Jeff and I met up that morning to go over the final details of the wedding he mentioned how there are train tracks a few hundred yards behind the venue. We talked about how it would suck if a train came through during the ceremony. He said he was reassured by the event organizer that they never come through at that time of day. Well guess what happened during the vows…..?

After the ceremony was over we obviously had to go take pictures on the tracks.

I have never been to Sweetwater Farm in Glen Mills, PA. What a beautiful place…rustic and quiet farmland. Perfect for a wedding.

A few years ago I photographed this couple’s wedding. Since then they’ve had their first child. He was kind of the human equivalent of a Super Ball mixed with one of those perpetual motion toys. Basically the kid didn’t slow down….ever. I had to be quick if I wanted to get photos of him before he ran off.
