Cousins

Friday, June 25th, 2010

I’ve been doing a ton of children’s portraits lately and having a blast doing it. I think it’s the fact that kids feel free to act how ever they want. There are no emotions that are off the table. Here’s Harrison loosing his marbles for a minute because he wasn’t allowed to have any more jelly beans. I was cracking up. Sorry Harrison but you’ll look back on this one day and laugh at yourself just like I was.

Anyway, I don’t get to see my cousins very often and when I do it usually involves some kind of photo shoot. We all met up at my aunt’s house in Doylestown and spent a couple hours playing around in the yard. Here’s a few of the ones I like the best.

Down and Dirty

Friday, June 25th, 2010

I ended up shooting another job for Habitat for Humanity on Thursday. This time I was called in to document workers from Bank of America donating time on a house.  I showed up at 11am in 95 degree heat.  These guys were not only drenched in sweat but completely covered in dirt and grime. What a huge change of pace from their comfy office jobs.

Dog Day

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

Is it weird to want to be a dog sometimes?  Don’t answer that question.  As I was driving home I look to my left and see this dog sticking it’s head out the window.   The fact that it had, what looked like, swimming goggles on cracked me up.  I was laughing hysterically watching the dog get so much pleasure from this simple activity.   If only life were that easy.

Amy & Michael

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Amy and Michael.  Everything was held here in Philly which was great for me.  It was the first time in over 250 weddings that I actually got to walk to work.  Anyway, they spent so much time and energy creating a truly beautiful wedding.  It certainly made my life easier.  We started the day off getting ready at The Rittenhouse, did formals at the Rodin Museum, had the ceremony a couple blocks away and finished up the evening back at the Rittenhouse.
